Sony new phone with 1-inch sensor.

What's wrong with using a proper camera?

Very expensive... I think $1.8k US dollars. Only for the most hardcore Sony fanboys (very few of them these days) with excess money to burn.

And judging by Sony's track record, the phones will only be available 2-3 months after the announcement event.

You won't take a proper camera everywhere but these days it's quite likely you'll take a phone with you everywhere.

Phones have already eaten into the entry level digital cameras' business. GoPro will be next.

Well said. Sony phones will not havd updates etc basically making it DOA

Tat is bcos iOS does not do anything n it restricts users from doing anything.

As an Android phone user, the 'customizability' of Android phones is highly overrated.

Most people just want something that works straight out of a box, not tinker with it, and get on with their everyday lives.

Google Maps is available for iPhones. That's the only thing you really need from the Google ecosystem.

Well said, I still find android easier to use than iOS. However both are evil, just that android is easier for me to use.

The only absolute advantage I see Android phones have over iPhones is the ability to sideload apps (apk files) without needing to go through the Google Play Store.

That is a good advantage.. anyway choosing between the 2 is like choosing between a rock n a hard place

at least ios is not as bloated with crapware and or devoid of security updates as android.
Don't be a dumbfuck. You can't even remove those bloated and useless apps in iOS as you can in Android.
And only ignorant idiots like you believe iOS is more secured. Just because Tim Cock always stresses on user's privacy and you believe him wholeheartedly ?

android is easy to use and plenty of interest in custom roms for many devices. i got iphone 4, had difficulty syncing the files from pc to iphone. the files were not properly synced often. never got iphone again.
