Actually, they are doing a lot of things right which are often negated by their own doing. One of their main problem is their thin skin. This one factor can and is oft mistaken for arrogance. Listen Pappies, it is OK not to be always right, you are not gods. It shows you are the human and I believe the people will empathise with that. And when mistakes are made, the people want corrective actions, not finger pointing and definitely not promotions for those responsible, this is tantamount to showing your middle finger to them.
You have to get down from that ivory tower. Believe me, your grassroot listening posts aren't telling you what should hear; not that they don't want to but your aloofness and your 'we know what the people needs' stand in the way and isn't helping any.
Right now, whatever good you are doing falls on skeptical ears. It has come to the stage whatever package you are offering to the people is met with 'it will be taken back with interests', and very often it is.
The stance you are taking seems to indicate you deem power, after decades of monopolistic governance, a God-given right. Remember you are elected by the people, for the people; and can as easily be voted out.
