WP was being attacked on the WP -TC issue like hell before and during the GE 2015 hustings, mercilessly ! There was not even a tinge of humanity , one by one executed WP in cold blood.

The chief reason was to make sure Workers Party disappears from the Singapore politics. Can you still talk about compassion ?

well, the results speak for itself, votes all round for WP seen a big drop ! And WP nearly lost Aljunied GRC.

the most disheartening is PE went under PAP Charles Chong. How could Charles win PE ?

WP must understand that though PAP is not your enemy, PAP wants all of you dead in politics and out of the parliament !

Charles Chong claimed on TC surplus cannot be let go so easily. You have to get to the bottom even if PE may need a BY-ELECTION, so be it.

If WP is soft on this serious issue that caused PE to fall, making Ms Lee Li Lian a fool , rest assured PAP will make sure WP be no more next GE 2020.


In 2011, Palmer won PE contesting WP Lee Li Lian . What is happening now ? PETC exists since 2011 , wasn't it ? the whole story just don't add up !

If the version in Zaobao is very clearly referring to Punggol East (already in existence since GE2011 being won by Mr Michael Palmer); then the version in the WanBao Aug25 will leave no doubts that $1m is mischievous or simply misleading, calculated to win votes.
In such instance, can residents in Punggol East petition for a re-vote?

The story just too funny and cannot understand.

We also think this is a very serious matter that WP if finds out the statement is misleading, WP must act for PE voters !

This is the best chance for WP to voice out to the voters.
Every corner is sealed, there is no way for the dark side spring back.

But again, do WP have the honor to do right thing ? People say WP will hand over the accounts on the platter, and say we are even.

When PETC handed over to WP, the operating funds clearly showed a deficit of $282k . This statement was signed by the Chairman. If there was a CPIC claim of $300K, why the figure was not shown in income and expenditure statement to reduce the loss ? Why it was not done?

Then they said there was a surplus of $21k factoring the claim.

We have another situation –Charles Chong claimed there was a surplus of $ one million(2012/2013) for pasir-ris GRC TC when PE was part of this larger GRC .

But in 2011, Palmer won PE contesting Ms Lee Li Lian, wasn’t PE already existed? So which is which ? The larger GRC or PETC ?

Questions:

Why statement showed a deficit in operating funds of $282k and if one million surplus for the GRC was true ? Why PE did not have a share of the profit ?
Why the Previous TC chairman signed the statement of deficit and talked about the reimbursement of CPIC claim of 300k which only would see a surplus of 21k when Charles chong claimed there was one million surplus ?

WP really must go all the way to clear up this mess and give PE voters the true account of what has happened even it needs to comb through the Pasir Ris TC accounts .

Another thing, WP must also clear the air about the movement of this 22 million sinking fund , in short, TCH or CC , or both , must be brought to task for misleading the PE voters and the voters if they are proven wrong !

WP must focus on this matter because this issue will clear the WP reputation for the next GE to come. WP has only one this chance.

If the whole situation is just a fabricated story to win votes, then WP must sue for the wrongdoers for slandering. Only then WP can stand the next GE.

WP should continue to do what it does and that is to put up its position in a concise manner balancing between being gentlemanly and aggressive.

The facts put up by WP is there for everyone to read. Many Singapore voters chose to ignore injustices even to a double-standards extent and just vote for whoever is there. How many have I seen argue about WP earning money and benefiting close parties when we know it is the last angle supporters of PAP should be taking up, for they have no moral authority to. This is blatant self-inflicted blindness by choice.

Good luck that they will continue to get a good deal from having this government. There is no telling that 1991, 2011 or worse won't repeat itself.
