Given the well know poor standard of PAP govt and SPF + SAF, captured pirates can toilet break like MSK, and massive man hunt by SAF + SPF will not find anything forever, and even limping Somalian pirates may swim across to Red Sea.

S'pore takes over anti piracy task force in the Gulf of Aden for next 3 months
SINGAPORE: Singapore took over command of Combined Task Force (CTF) 151, a multinational counter-piracy task force, from the United States in a ceremony held on board the US Navy destroyer, USS Hopper, in Bahrain on Wednesday morning.
The command team will coordinate anti-piracy operations in the Gulf of Aden over the next three months.
It will also coordinate counter-piracy operations with naval forces from the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation as well as with navies from other countries.
The team will be led by Rear-Admiral (RADM) Bernard Miranda.
He said: "My command team will focus on our mission to deter and disrupt piracy in the Gulf of Aden and the Somali Basin. I will also put emphasis on the readiness and optimisation of all assets and the well-being of all personnel involved in the day-to-day operations."
Meanwhile, Commodore Tim Lowe, Deputy Commander Combined Maritime Force, said: "I am very confident that Singapore can take on such a responsibility. More importantly, such support will be a significant boost to the international counter-piracy campaign."
The team comprises 29 Singaporeans and six personnel from Australia, France, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia and South Korea. - CNA/vm
