It is same like when they first built the HDBs the lifts only stop at certain floors and no one considered the difficulties of people climbing up and down stairwells.
Then they did a very big favour to the “owners” and decided to “upgrade” and install lifts to every floor but hor..,the “owners” have to pay for this privilege.

Can helps some people to “move” to a better place more easily mah, so that wealth transfer can take place at higher frequencies

I love the vintage lifts at HDB flats, only stopped on certain floors, no windows on the lift doors so you couldn't see who/what was on the other side, you could give someone a nice scare or surprise. Ambush them.

Someone might have granted the approval, RC, Town Council or HDB? The person must be reprimanded or even terminated of service
Must carry out the investigation for such wasteful.of public fund. No painting work should carried out if the contractor has not received any approval.It's a cockup, and that is to be expected when 'Cotton comes from sheep' helms your GRC.
