A crowded boat carrying asylum seekers to Australia capsized Wednesday and 125 survivors and one body were recovered from the Indian Ocean, less than a week after more than 90 people drowned on a similar journey.

They were heading for Australia that's on the other side, they heading for Australian territory of Christmas Island ( Indian Ocean) & Cooc Keeling Islands... that is not a lot of land...they will have to share Christmas Island with the red crabs...

Fren, 80% of australia is uninhabitable. Desert etc..you want to go live there/??? and some more these people claim to be 'refugees' who are mostly people of dubious character,,,why would any country want such people? Now in Oz,,anyone that come by boat can claim asylum..got free food, free health care, free accomodation, and tax free,,better than being a local.
