All this cheap labour has been happening for years.
Mostly fill by foreigners and government keep blaming singaporean don't want to take it up.
Now the time has come even government know they try to open gate to ft to this jobs but there are limitations as other countries may have blocked their people coming here.
So now we back to square one bosses are opening their urgent needed manpower to singaporean.
But what is the results??
Cheap labour to maintain our country growth has been practice by many countries too.
But they have the land mass and economy growth opportunities.
What do Singapore have??
tow kays are making too much profits and paying too little taxes.
time to supercharge workfare payouts into a universal basic income for anyone engaged in full time work, funded via higher corporate tax and a re-instated estate duty tax.
as a minimum, any Singaporean engaged in full time work should be guaranteed $30,000 per year in income.
