The same overused PAP trick of replying a question with a question is not working anymore. The bullying 'lawyer burok' trick of intimidation to belittle an opponent is no longer working the way the 'hatchet-man' did. It now has backfired because Singaporeans are not as 'daft" as he thought!

I'm so proud of Sylvia Lim for her latest gift to us all in questioning the Law Minister on an issue of fairness and equality that many citizens are confused by.

Her ability to stand tall and not be intimidated by the power that is bodes well for the future of Singapore. Hopefully, it is the beginning of a cultural change where we can witness the decline of Kiasi (fear death), Kiasu (fear loss) and Kia Chenghu (fear government) in Singapore.

How on earth Woffle Wu, the owner of the speeding cars, did not respond to the police demand for the details of the drivers is beyond us. For the police to accept the answer from Wu's employee to the questions by the police shows the quality of the investigation and the case of the prosecution.

But he lost BIG TIME this round. This behavior not only does not scare anyone, it demonstrates how you can tekan these bastards at the same time not sued or bankrupt by them. For peasants who are not familar with Shanmukiangan, this incident popularises the notoriety of the bastard. Good for him, i hope to see more of such behavior, it will surely send him out of Parliament by 2016.

Wonder why everytime opposition poses a simple question they want to turn it into a "cut and thrust" debate instead of just replying to it.
They are the best people to reply as they can easily get all the data and informations from any ministries, unless they themselves have problem getting them from their civil servants.

Eg.
1. Figure of convert citizen
2. Figure of PR
3. Data of WP/S-pass/EP/student pass/social pass............
4. Data of school drop out rate those level and below
5. Data of salary.........
So many question not answer
Especially how much actual money in Temasek and GLC actual report and detail none existing.
How much money in CPF board??????????

Imho, Shanmugam is unmistakably behaving and talking like his mentor LKY! Use of bully tactics and trying to put the other party in a bad light while at the same time standing on their moral high horse. Also,Parliamentarians are expected to be political animals; i.e. breathe and talk politics; if not, it would be most unusual and unbecoming. Why else be in Parliament? So for Shanmugam to chastise Sylvia for injecting politics in her question is a no brainer. The smart thing to do would be for him to answer the question head-on and move on as he pleases. What a laughing stock!
