Snooker, a gentleman's game

used to play this during younger days. never play pool before and never thought of playing.

I like snooker too. Need strategy, accuracy and skill.
Now 95% play pool. Easy to pocket the ball, big hole and small table.

One of the more colourful character of this game was the late Alex 'hurricane ' Higgins. A very instinctive type potter like Jimmy White. He didnt like those prim and proper guys that much and described former snooker champion Steve Davis as ' my backside has more personality than him'

Last time after school used to head down to Katong Shopping Ctr and played snooker there..

Every one of us wanted to be like Jimmy White..
