Uttar Pradesh: Woman Raped by Father, Brother and Two Uncles For Eloping With Boyfriend

New Delhi, Nov 28: In yet another shocking incident, a woman in Dhaneda village of Uttar Pradesh was allegedly raped by four members of her own family including her father, brother and two uncles.

The incident took place a few months after the she eloped with her boyfriend. According to the reports, the victim, in her complaint, claimed that her family members confined her inside the house and threatened her.

The woman was produced before a magistrate court, who recorded her statement in which she has supported her complaint.

Talking to news agency PTI, station house officer (SHO) Kushal Pal Singh, said that the police registered a case against all the four accused on the directive of the Allahabad High Court.

“All the accused have been taken into custody and further investigations are underway,”the officer said.
