Commuters who live in Tampines had a rude shock yesterday evening taking the ever ‘reliable’ SMRT trains home.
Instead of stopping at Tampines MRT station, the trains did not do so and traveled all the way to Pasir Ris MRT station. SMRT announced over its PA system asking commuters to take return train in the opposite direction from Pasir Ris to Tampines, thereby costing them unnecessary inconvenience and delay.
One angry commuter Desmond Tong wrote:
“What the fuckery is wrong with SMRT?! Reach Tampines Statiom yet can’t alight?! What the fuck? SMRT announced to everyone to go Pasir Ris and board a train back to Tampines. This is the most ridiculous shit I’ve ever heard.”

‘Minor’ train disruptions were also reported along the North-South Line at the same time:

This Desmond Tong is a retard or what? Yes going from Pasir Ris to Tampines is annoying alright, but calling it "most ridiculous shit he has ever heard" is damn exaggerating and shows that he is a spoilt brat and probably have little real life experience!!
