SMRT maintenance management is being questioned

The big question now on everyone’s mind is how it is possible for LTA to find so many faults in one day when SMRT chief Saw Phaik Hwa and her team can’t find any of these over the many years operating SMRT?

Saw continued to maintain that the tracks were checked everyday with each section checked every week. She reiterated that SMRT did its best and its maintenance and service standards were up to mark. Could it be that SMRT maintenance crew couldn’t see in the dark those fallen claws and damaged protective covers? Perhaps the SMRT chief forgot to send her crews for eye-checks?
