SMRT may have had a few hiccups in recent years but that does not alter the fact that it's a very well run company. Considering the volumes that it carries daily without incident, the company is doing an outstanding job.

MRTs performance std must be like aircraft flight............ZERO defect/failure becos it is critical service

In Europe esp in Germany the MRT having such problems is unheard of n they have been operating in their cities for donkey years. Personally I think it got to do with their traditional strength and dedication in things engineering esp maintenance.
