10 years is reasonable. My Amana (US) fridge lasted 20 years. Too bad dealers aren't bringing in American fridges anymore because they can't pass our local electricity consumption tests.

Only recently as I need someone to look after my mother. But this maid is very careful and timid. Close the fridge door slowly.
