my friend, working in shipping brokerage, got so well until he bought a condo at bukit timah. recently, resigned due to office politics and under a lot of stress, 3 daughters ,wife, father and mother waiting for him to feed. apparently, he can't keep up with the mortgage and decided to sell off his condo. this friend was the same one who laughed at me when i started driving a taxi. the chinese saying, dun have such a big head, dun wear a big hat. but i still wish him well, hope that he ride thru the storm.

I want to ask this question. For those who bought the condos, how many of them actually paid in full? Or did they just loan from the bank? I know the interest from banks can kill.

Ship brokering can earn good money.. Being from the Marine Industry, i know of many chaps from that line earning well over 10K per month.. But they squandered it away on fast cars, mistresses and entertainment.. Anyway, you are quite kind hearted not to have any grudges against your friend even though he once laughed at you for driving a cab.. Most people would have taken the opportunity to even the score with your friend for his past yaya ways..
