A lot of these Ah Bengs are not well trained to handle high powered cars. Take the case of the modified Methanol Injection BMW which crashed and caught fire in Tg Pagar as well as the VW Golf GTI smashing into the tree upon exiting the ECP. Furthermore, all these drivers had been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crashes. I've driven a Golf GTI before and the pick up is really quite fantastic, especially due to its small and light body.

In this case, the driver of that Mercedes must be put in jail for life so that he can repent. The TP must impose much stricter penalties for drink driving, just like in Taiwan where most drivers will learn how to conform to the regulation. If their driver is found to be drink driving, they'll go straight to jail, no further negotiation.
