So very funny I had a few chuckles.. MPs are really mouthpieces of the ruling party. They get the Whip in Parliament so as to toe the party line. Can suka-suka build wellness centre just like that. Are they the final approving authority or not? I think not!

They have voted for Chiam for many years and supported him without question. The voters know that voting for PAP would mean the end of Potong Pasir but they have expected Chiam to make the right decision when puting his preferred candidate for election. SPP clearly have people who could do a better job than Lina but didnt because Chiam was selfish and only wanted Lina to continue and pushing everyone else aside.

To the voters, that is an insult. You didnt respect the voters by putting your best men for the estate that had supported you all these years. Meaning, you do not value the voters after all these years........

Contrary to the thread title I would think that Sitoh is a very principled person.

If PAP is smart they should focus on Potong Pasir and develop it well. In the next GE, still keep Potong Pasir as a single ward. Get a clear mandate from voters that they want PAP to stay. This will be very encouraging for the party but too bad Sitoh has lousy PR and people on the ground do not like him and has no connection with him.

Who do you suggest the PAP should put in the team
I only about the prominent members of the PAP. Their A team: that zorro guy, the one with the $8 heart, the one who mismanaged the youth olympic games, the senile old man, his useless son,.....

There are plenty of idle hands in the PAP, but is there anyone in the PAP which is capable
