STOMPer seenu was shocked to find the components of the refurbished iPhone he got in a one-for-one exchange held together by nothing more than sticky tape. The parts were also covered in fingerprints.

He spoke to STOMP over the phone:

"I brought my old phone to a SingTel shop at Somerset and got a one-for-one exchange for a refurbished iPhone 3G a few months ago (March 2011).

"Recently, my iPhone's glass was broken and I decided replace the glass myself as it was no longer under warranty.

"When I removed the top screen, I was shocked to see the condition of the inside of the phone.

"Sticky tape, finger prints and the worst part is soldered lid to hold the cracked circuit board together.

"This is terrible.

"I am disappointed given the bad condition of refurbished iPhone 3G."
