Sinkieland will not recognise the sinovac vaccine by Sinkies but will recognise Cina with the same vaccine coming into Sinkieland.

Wang Yikang also suggested that the two sides resume personnel exchanges in an orderly manner. He said that tourism and business trips are indispensable for the new normal after the epidemic. New Zealand and China have been effective in epidemic prevention. When appropriate, countries and regions can pass health and vaccination certificates to mutually authenticate each other, eliminating the requirement of isolation and safely resuming personnel exchanges between the two countries

Yea the policy is currently very inconsistent. I understand the government's rationale not to include SinoVac in our national vaccination program, but find the idea that we are allowing people to vaccinate SinoVac at MOH appointed clinics and yet on the other hand not recognize these vaccinations for domestic policy purposes such as pre-event testing very confusing. Even Kenneth Mak's explanation for not including SinoVac vaccination numbers sounds stretched and an ad-hoc on the spot rationale.

Now we learn that at the same time the government is also pushing for vaccination recognition between China and Singapore which is pretty much recognizing SinoVac, SinoPharm and Cansino vaccinations. The so called joint task force doesn't seem to be very "joint" to me, not much coherence on a national level, more like different departments running different shows.

Now you know for certain that the pappies bought those Sinovac vaccines to keep the fuckers at 150 Tanglin Road happy. Following that was the wayang 'HSA evaluation' phase. Then the '24 clinics to offer Sinovac but you need to pay'.

Compromise after compromise after compromise. It's politics, plain and simple.
