So, everyone remembers the case of the 10 China money launderers caught in the $3 billion money laundering case. All 10 were sentenced between April and June this year to jail terms ranging from 13 months to 16 months. Now this clown of a Minister Sun Xueling has informed Singaporeans that all these culprits have already been deported except one!! Is this some kind of joke? So, when the S'pore judge sentences someone to prison, it's not necessary for them to serve the sentence because they hold another passport? They can just get deported AKA Freed? I wish native born S'poreans can also have this option. So, basically, Sun Xueling is telling the whole world they can come to S'pore to commit crimes, but if they are caught, they will simply be deported. No caning, no jail time, etc. Just like those Little India rioters. I am shocked that the Oppo and any sound minded Sinkies are not raising a stink over this. Really double standard here in the legal system. One standard for rich foreigners and one standard for sinkie peasants.

The whole purpose of facilitating the establishment of "family offices" in Singapore is so that huge sums of money can be laundered. I don't understand why they were even charged in the first place unless the SG govt was told to obey orders or else.

We need them to stay at Changi Prison to do their sentence. After all Prison Wardens also need to get bribes to make sure these buggers get good food, single room, etc.
