Sinkie man molested woman after knocking her down

A 45-year-old woman suffered head injuries when she was knocked down along Beach Road yesterday.

She was semi-conscious when she was taken to hospital.

The police said they received a call about the accident along the road, in the direction of Middle Road, at 4.40pm.

A Nissan Skyline sports coupe understood to have been involved in the mishap had a damaged front bumper and windscreen.

Besides the Nissan, there was also an Audi on the road when the accident happened. It is unclear whether the woman was jaywalking when she was hit.

The driver of the Nissan, who was unhurt, is helping police with investigations, as are witnesses.
