In S'pore also got rape cases..
Remember the unsolved case of the student way back in the 80s who was raped and murdered while she went jogging? Then there was another rape case around 10 years back when a lady was jogging at Bukit Batok and she was raped savagely inside some bushes.. She then died few days later from the attack.. That case also remains unsolved..
In the 80s, CSI was still under evolving stage due to limitation in scientific breakthrough.
10 years later DNA test was already quite well established but the evidence of the lady rape case in Bukit Batok )if I'm not wrong)
was affected by the weather during that month. Most of the evidence that the CSI tried to collect at the scene was badly contaminated.
Hence, the DNA test was not very conclusive and the rapist got away.
That place until today remains to be haunted.
