Are they so poor they can't afford to buy another fish which costs one dollar at most? Or is this the "acting" thing that these people always like to do, especially with food. No wonder so many Sporeans look so malnutritioned like they are about to kneel over and die anytime.

Typical sporean family. Father is a compulsive gambler, mother can't string together a sentence and works as retail assistant in the neighbourhood grocery shop. And they wonder why the poor kid got pregnant at 15. Poor kid, no one to lead her or even teach her the basic things in life. She should just leave her stupid house for good because her parents are bad influences to her and will only pull her down in life.

If she mange to pull thru and become more responsible and smarter. Then that will be good news.
If she unable to bring up the child properly and teach her child. Then it will bring burden to society if they child grow up and commit crime.
