Many joggers are saying that crying can be heard around Bedok Reservoir late at night.

Bedok Reservoir has become the subject of much consternation after five bodies were found within five months in its waters.

Many Singaporeans are wondering whether the reservoir is haunted, or if there is some reason why it has become a popular spot for drownings and suicides.

In response to a deluge of requests to investigate the reservoir, a group of ghost hunters set out to search for evidence of spirits at the park.

The group, known as Singapore Haunted, visited the reservoir twice. The first time was during the lunar seventh month (also known as the ghost month), and another time last month in light of several more recent deaths at the park.

The group set out specifically to make contact with Chen Shi Shi and her son, both of whom drowned together at the reservoir on 22 September. The pair was said to be clad in red, with their fingernails painted red and their hands tied together with a red string when they died.

It is believed that people who die this way will return as vengeful spirits.

According to the group, many things had also "gone wrong" during the recent rituals conducted at the reservoir.

The group of ghost hunters arrived at the reservoir around midnight on 7 October, and proceeded to sit down at the edge of the waters to make contact with the spirits.

Soon enough, the group began to witness "violent activity" in the reservoir waters that was described as "something black" coming out of the water.

Later on, the group even heard and recorded sounds of a boy crying and of a woman wailing.

The group stayed a total of five hours at the reservoir and came out certain that "some form of contact" was made with spirits at the reservoir.

But whether the recorded evidence are merely eerie coincidences or truly hauntings at the reservoir park, it is up to you to discern

Should merge this thread with the "Singapore needs a better education system" thread. :)

Must be that bunch of losers who call themselves SPI....sinkie paranormal investigators.
Wackos and IMH patients all.

These Ghost Hunters should just show us some footage and the so-called recording. If not, don't waste our time.

You'll see a suicidal taxi driver crying over his failure to drown himself because "the water is too cold". :D
