I was sitting next to my friend who was a victim of Singtel failure. His phone could not call me on Starhub line and I called him also could not get through and he was only using a 2G phone. Not 3G.

Rotten Singtel is useless. Worse then Malaysian services literally. What disgrace!

IDA better kill their telco license for once and for all. We don't need a rubbish company like that.:oIo:

SingTel customers in northern and western Singapore experienced disruptions in their 3G mobile services between yesterday and this morning, reported The Straits Times.

The telco said in a Facebook post on Tuesday night: "Customers in some northern and western areas may be experiencing difficulties using 3G mobile services. We are working to restore services as soon as possible. In the meantime, we recommend manually switching your phone to our 2G network if you encounter any issues."

The Straits Times reported that the 3G services were believed to have resumed to normal about an hour after the post was made, although the telco warned of intermittent Internet access.

The telco's 3G services were restored by 11am this morning.

While SingTel has yet to reveal the cause of service disruptions, many customers are already demanding compensation.

Investigations by the Infocomm Development Authority are ongoing.
