If you ended up marrying your first partner, do you have any recommendations or warnings to people who are planning to do the same thing? Like "do this before you get married for sure or you will regret it."

Kinda just curious to hear the stories but also personally relevant. I am my partner's first rs and they are my first serious rs. Been together for 4 years now and marriage is a topic of conversation.
