If Singaporeans are not asking the PM LHL to go, something is amiss in Singaporeans' thinking.
When PM LHL go, LKY now MP of TG GRC, will no longer able to intimidate Singaporeans with his FT policies and 900,000 FTs yet to land on this shore will not overcrowded the transports system.
A massive outcry has erupted in cyberspace over PAP supreme leader Lee Kuan Yew’s call for Singapore to welcome more ‘foreign talent.’
Speaking during the South Asian Diaspora Convention last Friday, Lee asked about the issue of attracting ‘foreign talent’ in Singapore given the possible political implications.
“For some time, the Singaporean has felt the competition from talented foreigners. But these are people who have come here to become our citizens and I am a firm believer that the more talent that you have in a society, the better the society will grow,” he replied nonchalantly.
As for the discomfort felt by Singaporeans, Lee remarked callously that they will have to ‘accept’ it.
