Singaporeans are stupid to spend millions on mooncake without realising that these mooncakes are manufactured in China

Mooncakes company will never tell you that all our mooncakes are made in Singapore. All are cheating you! All those hotels and restaurants mooncakes are subcontracted to China and Malaysia .

Hong Kong mooncakes such as Meixin and 奇华 all made in China with typical HACCP symbol

Don't forget the fancy 'collab' mooncakes e.g. Disney mooncakes.

Just get those mooncakes from local hotels or local bakers. Alternatively, go to JB, they are only too happy to peddle mooncakes to Sinkies. This is the time of the year when they can make big money.

Tiongland mooncakes taste very different and crappy. Last time we go Dong Guan KTVs the gals would pester us to buy a box. We bought two to three boxes. Tasted like shit.

One simple mooncake can easily cost $20 , so I refused to buy them, as can easily have a meal for 4 persons (until recently).
The mooncake festival has no relevance to Singapore as there is no Autumn here and we are not an agricultural society
