I first sensed this among school mates and then work mates. Like everything else in life there are exceptions. When someone reveals something and it is relatively new, there is always the tendency to know more about it and also the tendency to inquire where it came from. Both natural reactions of the human mind. Without fail however there will be a few idiots that will react differently - the shutters come down, the blinkers come out and eyebrows start to dip.

And one or two comment of similar vein will inevitably drop from their lips - it was not in the papers, not in the strait times and or worse still the there was no annoucement by the Govt.

I remember clearly one idiot, a scholar disputed the fact that Malays are not allowed in certain vocations and formations in the SAF. This clown did NS and had no clue. I was even more shocked when people seems to be taken aback when Mahathir first brought it out in the open and the Govt finally responded. Now suddenly everyone is an expert.

By the way the same scholar was also not aware that his wife who had good tits was being bonked by another scholar ( not sure if Mahathir knew that but the civil service did before this chap). And yes there are scholars that have control of their top as well of their bottom anatomy.

Now that old man had taken the influential foreign press including the wall street journal, economist and the BBC to the cleaners with his lawsuits, the exernal info well has also dried up. Thats leaves the social media.

Yet we have imbeciles and morons who have never provided an iota of information, have no clue about their surroundings writing homilies on conjecture, credibility and god knows what else. "Are you sure", "Bullshit" are their favourite mantras.

Here is a good example. Straits Times asked Foo Mee Har about the bankruptcy order against the husband, so that must be true. But Straits Times did not ask PAP MP Hri Kumar if his wife is Dilys Boey and is she the boss of Ms Tin of Salah Peiling fame. So the jury is out there as the Straits Times has not verified it. I even had a lawyer tell me that such information is important and Straits Times would have realised it and would have gone after it if it was true.

Singaporeans should ask themselves this simple question - why do they not know the name of an MPs wife, someone they elected to public office and not into the CIA. Why are some MPs are shy of putting their name of their spouse in their Parliament CV but others are not. For instance 99% of Singaporeans were not aware that Bernard Chen and Kenneth Chen are brothers with the same mum but different dads. Both sought public office.

Common sense will tell you that everything in life must be taken with a pinch of salt but the best indicator is sizing the track record of the source.

Saving grace is that we still have sharp and astutue individuals who can read between the lines and have the ability to connect the dots.

But the thing with waiting for the local press to confirm if you are the father of your own kid has got to stop. Open your eyes, listen and start connecting the dots or get off your lazy arse and find out yourself. I told you about Balji. When he was paid to write Ghost letters for Durai, no one blinked. Now he has been caught doing the same shit for Dr Susam Lim. And where does he come from?

Here is another bit of trivia. One of Singapore's top civil servants has a son that did not do well in his A levels so he had to repeat. To cut a long story short, he is now in the elite admin service. Lets see if Straits Times can verify this as the son is still in service directing public policy for Singaporeans including those who passed their A levels the first time around.

You are expecting too much, it is no open secret that the mainstream media from CNA to the tabloids are fully owned subsidaries of Temasek holdings. Temasek I believe owns the ordinary shares of SPH fully while the preferential shares are traded on the stock market. My lecturer who is a producer in CNA challenged me to prove it and I did my little research and found out that foreigners are not allowed to own ordinary shares of the local newspapers as mandated under some obscure media law.

Journalism 101 that they teach in schools the minuite mass comm graduates enter SPH are thrown out once they entered SPH. Its a shame and all but these guys distorts the truth once they realised it gives them a resume a few years later to jump to another company.

I could retitle this thread:

"If the Straits Times didnt print it, then it cannot be true."

Maybe can retitle it to :

Singaporeans love-affair with Braddell Brothel ?
:p
