Singapore weather sucks. So hot and humid...

Hot weather today. Not sure if I can set up a hawker stall after my retirement, selling chrysanthemum and herbal tea shop
I must take my hat off to those hawkers who are able to slave over a hot stove 6 days per week under our sweltering heat.

My pal who is a food delivery guy told me that he made at least $200 net in this weekend as business is good and many people prefer to dine in due to extreme weather

I had the aircon switched on in my living room this past weekend where everyone gathered to watch TV, work on their laptops and have their meals. Going outdoors in this current heat and humidity is torture. As author Noel Coward wrote: "In tropical climes there are certain times of day when all the world is sleeping, or else goes out to play but mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun."

I see many people only come out at night to avoid the hot and humid afternoon weather

It is no surprise that those who are able to afford a car are so reluctant to part with it, even though the govt is making them bleed.
