Unpleasant as it is, imagine how much worse it could have been if it was a loan shark instead of a licensed debt collector. As the debt spirals out of control (with accumulating compound interest), so does the life of the debtee. Never never take on debt if there's a risk you can't pay it off under your full control.

As someone on HWZ EDMW commented, in some cases, "the lender even more fierce than the debt collector!"

All these scenes could easily be avoided if people just paid what they owe.

KNN pap allowed leegal lending so pap have to clear the mess KNN

Over nite when MBS and Genting open Gahman start issuing money lending licences, prior to these two casinos they say no more money lending licence will be issued. Macam flip Prata!!!!

It's a greed thing. Borrower want easy money from lender. Lender want to make money from borrower. Scumbag debt collector want to make money when borrower don't pay back. Borrower+Lender+DC = ugly scene

All these lender, if cannot repay don borrow, n if doing business if they know they go bankrupt don take other ppl goods n sell for cash n pocket the money.Pity those supplier kana con ,they hv family to feed also

Should have never allowed 'licensed moneylenders' to proliferate the island, but the Moneylending Act was 'magically' revised in 2010, just as the first casino opened its doors for business. Just a coincidence, I'm sure.

I still owe ah long about $7K+ for almost 8 years. They can't locate me. My residential address was a rented one and I had since moved out. The company address I gave them is also no longer an active company. And I have changed my hp no, which was a prepaid card anyway. So I am now blacklisted by the AL community. Can't borrow anymore.

If everyone who owes money don't pay up even the banks will go out of business.
