Trishaw is bicycle, no?

Otherwise, travel insurance WILL NOT cover because cycling on road in Singapore without helmet is classified as so dangerous, it is ILLEGAL. So for tourist who get into traffic accidens whilst enjoying trishaw (e.g. night tours etc), my car insurance will only pay 20% damage even if collision is 100% my fault cos by not wearing helmet, the tourist deliberately contributed to aggravating his own injuries by ignoring local bicycle helmet guidelines or trishaw company must compensate the rest of the $$$$ because they made tourist take unnecessary risk by not making them wear bicycle helmets whilst enjoying bicycle related ride on Singapore roads.

Alternatively, allow trishaw tours only on park connector network (PCN) only.

Anyway, trishaw ride on Singapore roads must be a blood curdling, death defying experience with so many impatient, rude and stressed out drivers, ready to rage any moment and run their hapless innocent victims down.

Holland, the most cycling friendly nation on earth, does not mandate helmet use. Neither does France another cycling mecca of Europe.

If safety is such an important issue then the government might as well mandate that all cars on the road have roll cages and drivers and passengers should wear flame proof suits, full face helmets and use harness seat belts.

Wearing a helmet is a good thing for everyone involved. To maintain a rustic feel, vintage design helmets could be used for trishaw riders and their passengers.
