Singapore should send troops to help Haiti!

Given the situation in Haiti, I'm surprised the SGP govt just provide lip service condolences so far and NOT SENT any decent $ or troops to help out!!!
This is a good opportunity for SGP to show some leadership at least from this part of the continent.....Also, instead of having those SAF troops and civil defence have mock exrcise all these time, throwing money into drain, might as well send them there to get actual practice now....It's money better spent really....Also, it's a good testing ground for those army scholars, to see if they are really worth their salt, or just paper generals....:oIo::oIo:

Look at the track record of the PAP. They will only provide a helping hand only if they expect to get something in return. They don't even care about Spore's citizens

For example, it helped Indonesia but that country is resource rich, many businesses of interest to Temasek, lots of laundry business,...

Haiti has no potential. it has no resources, little laundry business,....
