Singapore retail industry will collapse by year end 2026

great....but by time these morons finally realised whats happening...the pap motherfuckers are in some remote island sipping beer and having a good time
spore epstein island maybe
rid the MF and the 65% at the same time? I'm running out of toes to cross

Who still shop in Sinkieland apart from groceries and essential items at Supermarket? Clothes especially. Boring and unappealing stuff from Uniqlo, H&M and Cotton On.
Rich Indonesians and PRCs waiting to splurge here regardless on price surge in Sg.

With Iran war, Singapore prices will go up.
By year end many Singaporeans will take RTS to go to Malaysia to smoke, eat, drink, cut hair, facial, manicure and pedicure

I foresee market will be hard hit
I already don't spend much of my money in SG for low quality and overpriced stuff..... I spend them on online shopping platform but never from local seller as well as in JB when I go there and stayed usually for few days....

I voted with my wallet not to continue overpaying for goods and services in S'pore. Shop online or overseas and cook at home from recipes obtained online.

great! if 69% of retail were to shut their stores (and go online) it would reduce demand for commercial space thus would result in lower rent. this would force many commercial landlords and reits to sell their unprofitable properties to money launderers from tiongcock. and would also bring in more (dirty) money from tiongcock. huat ah!

S'pore is the money laundering capital of the world; let the "honest" SG govt stop denying this.

I would like to see SG landlords (cronies of the govt) bleed big time.

Soon when the carbon tax implemented, prices of all goods and services will.go up, people would spend much more lesser
more retailers would go bankrupt, only government makes more money

At every Yakun patronised, 8 out of the 10 are either Chinese ed and/or women...dont think will collapse that easy

Yakun is a more niche brand. Toast Box is always crowded for whatever reason. Keep giving your money to the Quek family and FT employees.

Sooner or later all shops are tiongs liao. Become a washing money in sinkie so they can bring out their dirty money out of china.

Whenever the PAP sees $$$ they will look the other way. How did the self-proclaimed honest govt create the money laundering capital of the world right here in Singapore???
