His explanation on Singapore’s response to the Covid-19 outbreak was praised by a largely partisan audience, who compared him to U.S. President Donald Trump’s handling of the public health crisis.
Compare apples with apples...their salaries and their countries' population, density and land area.

In fact Singapore has indeed done a very good job. No doubts this crisis will last longer than expected, but it is because of it Singapore has brace itself for the economic, healthcare and social impact.
Yes we may be slow in responding during the initial outbreak, but we are catching up.
Also note that it is not LHL, CCS or Gan or Heng who is putting his life on the front, but the battle is fought by us the citizens of Singapura.
Decision is made by committee of people who understand and has fought in the frontline, not by this Ministar. They only approved which they will because they don't really comprehend what is really happening.
