【星島日報報道】中國及新加坡警方攜手搗破一個跨國賣淫犯罪集團，逮捕201名嫌犯，當中包括2名首腦。集團首腦以「到新加坡打工幾個月可賺10萬元」作招徠，誘騙大批內地女子到新加坡賣淫，受害女子多達179人，年齡介於19歲到53歲。
27歲首腦周勝利及同黨黨朱海濤首先創辦「狼群網」，然後在透過微信等平台發廣告，以「去新加坡打工可以賺大錢，幾個月就能掙幾十萬元！」等標題吸引內地女子，完成招攬後，由集團成員向她們收錢代辦簽證，少則數千、多則上萬元。到達新加坡後再由集團成員假扮的新加坡「房東」安排住所。
住下之後，集團成員並沒有給她們找工作，而是等她們把身上的錢所剩無幾時，藉機提出賣淫賺錢的建議。如果遇到反抗比較激烈的女孩，團伙成員就會採取利誘，威逼等各種方式進行解決。由於部分女孩並沒有出境經驗，對新加坡了解也甚少，況且身上的費用也所剩無幾，在集團成員三番五次的威逼騷擾之後，最終被逼就範。集團運作專業，既為女子偽造印章，證件收取高額簽證費，又安排她們的住宿、賣淫地點，收取高額房租；除此之外，為了吸引更多客戶，從這些女子身上榨取更多利益，周勝利還專門編寫了培訓教材，對女子進行培訓，要求她們拍性感的照片。警方指，短短不到兩年的時間，狼群網很快成為新加坡影響最大的招嫖網站，而網站主要收入就是從賣淫的肉金中，收取少女在網站掛單的費用。按規定，如每次肉金在150新加坡元（約870港元）以下，少女每月便要向網站支付1300元至2000元（約1545至2377港元）；如每次肉金為150到200新加坡元（約1158港元），少女則要支付2500元到3000元（約2970港元至3566港元）。直至案發，周勝利共獲利600餘萬元人民幣，同黨朱海濤獲利800餘萬元人民幣事後。兩人均用贓款購買房產，轎車等，供自己和家人使用，並且設法轉移非法所得贓款，逃避警方打擊。根據新加坡「婦女憲章」，任何依靠妓女收入維持生活的行為是違法的，罪成可能面對高達5年監禁，及罰款高達1萬新元。男性重犯者可另被判鞭刑。
