The Straits Times understands that all 10 of them are male students at the college.

The police received a report at about 12.30pm on Jan 25 about a group of people fighting along 10 Simei Avenue.

Officers from Bedok Police Division identified the suspects and arrested them a day later.

A video of the fight went viral on social media. It showed a large crowd of students in uniform punching and kicking one another.

ITE College East principal Yek Tiew Ming told ST in a previous report on the video that the school takes a serious view of the matter and does not condone such behaviour.

Dr Yek added that the college is investigating the incident and will take appropriate action against any students found violating college rules.

The Indian Minister is trying very hard to make light of the Little India Riot caused by his fellow Indians, by classifying every other private fighting case as "Rioting". Little India Riot is no big deal just one of the numerious "riots" that commonly happen in Singapore, other races cause more "riots" than Indians :)
