Global companies need talented CEOs to run their companies. Look at all the major global companies and banks. Indian CEOs have guided them to good business performances and healthy balance sheets.

Even Singapore's DBS has prospered under an Indian CEO.

Singapore lacks good talented leadership.

General Ng has obviously failed and the same with many of those local born Singapore leaders that were cultivated in the Singapore Armed Forces. They lack simple business acumen to make a business prosperous and successful.

They lacked basic and simple general knowledge. Cotton comes from Sheep?

They can't motivate the workers like Indian CEOs. They can't speak proper English. They lack charisma and authenticity and saddle in their limited mindsets like a frog in a well.

Had SPH hired an Indian CEO like DBS, this unthinkable day in SPH history would never have happened. Shareholders won't be unhappy.

I urge the Singapore government, Temasek, GICs and major GLCs to hire great and competent Indian leadership talents. Otherwise more and more big Singapore companies will end up like SPH and Hyflux.

Yes I totally agreed. Cheers and have a nice weekend dude.

DBS is an excellent example how a local Singapore company achieved years of success and progress, delivering value to shareholders.

Piyush Gupta transforms DBS into a global bank putting it's footprint on the global banking industry.

Need I say more?

Singapore should stop putting it's SAF scholars who are ranked the most talented in the country to run big Singapore companies or GLCs. They simply don't make the cut in this global business world.

There are plenty of good Indian business leaders globally and the Singapore government and Temasek must make all efforts to bring them into Singapore.

We have our own Pritam Singh.
He's certainly a lousy talent. He can't even manage a GRC town council. That's another cold and hard evidence that Singaporeans whether Chinese or Indians cannot make the cut.

Singapore needs Foreign Talent.

Period.

Certainly not from India. :biggrin::rolleyes:

The proliferation of fraudulent CECAs and useless scholars plaguing public companies... they are two symptoms originating from one disease.

Don't go after the symptoms; go after the disease. Keep your eyes on the big prize and don't get distracted.

There are talented ones but they have all gone to ang moh countries. The remaining lanjiao 'talents' come to Lanjiao Island - Sinkieland.

Anyway it's a numbers game. Quantity is more important than quality... even the diseased ones. If they still have a pulse, they're good enough.
