Either life is good for the youths today or inflation in Sinkieland has reached preposterous levels.

Kids nowadays don’t eat at hawker centers and all are very atas and eating at the Malls and drinking bubble teas

W/o, 2k is about right.

SG is the most expensive city/cuntry in the world. Those who make it and those few percent that don't are like worlds apart, that's life. That's why minimum wage is a must. Nope, it won't be $30 per cup of coffee in coffee shop that's way over exaggerated. lol.......

they take taxi grab
eat restaurants
drink Starbucks bbt
carry iphone

i take bus mrt
eat hawker centre
drink cheap kopi o
carry xiaomi

Nothing wrong with getting an iPhone... you don't need to buy the latest and greatest. Many Banglas and maids have iPhones too.

If it's mobile-related expenses, I believe it's more to do with their data subscription plans.

Ask Macik, last time President salary below 300k now 3 million, increase by 10 times. Old Guards were paid 200k, new Guard and 4G leeders by millions. 2k for a Guy going to be a Graduate where enough.

Dafug?!
I worked through my varsity days, doing odd jobs to pay for the tuition fees and all.

You are more independent than me, which is a compliment to you. My dad pay for my tuition fee. I wish to be independent like you during my study days.

$6.9k a month won’t be enough for this spoilt brat. in fact no bigger amount is enough. best is throttle it down to $696, as i’ve proven in sg that one can survive and thrive on less than $696 a month.
