Singapore's life expectancy for 2025 is projected around 84.3 years, with official 2024 data showing 83.5 years (81.2 for males, 85.6 for females), reflecting strong healthcare and healthy living, though some sources list slightly different projections based on ongoing trends and pre-pandemic recovery, with continued improvement expected.

So for males with 81.3 life expectancy, you already expended about 70% of your lifespan at age 57...Scary...

The retirement age is set to go up to 64 later this year while the reemployment age will be raised to 69. Not many years to enjoy our retirement if we choose to stop work at 64, though most in the private sector will be out of work by our 50s.

There should be minimally universal health care for those aged 65 years old and above irregardless of conditions...and why are there so many PMDs around when the riders are all mobile?

You better give me all your monies and assets. You can't bring them out once you completed your journey as a human.
I intend to upload all my wealth to the block chain. And when I am reincarnated in 50 to 100 years time, I will access it via a hardware wallet, from Canada. And since you asked, I will leave some for you. I will appear to you in a dream to let you know where the gold coins are buried.

I know an ex colleague who is around 60 that lead a fake leetirement aka self consoling leetirement.
His concept of leetirement is such that he will need to work until the day he die, but at the same time he is now free to spend his salary and go for holidays frequently by taking leave.
He used to be living paycheck to paycheck and when he reached 55, he withdrew his cpf and paid off his debts incurred during his whole life of familee expenses and children's education and housewifey allowances.
During the day when he reached 55, he was so leelieved to receive his cpf and announced that he can now leetire and live a carefree life.
But the thing is he hated his work so much that he has to phycho himself that a human need to work or else is boring.

That is the problem with human beings; we are never happy or satisfied. When we have too much work, we feel stressed/pressured. When we have no work, we feel depressed and bored.
