1) Mao = LKY
2) Village chief representative = RC head.

Nonono... RC head not elected. Low Thia Khiang is the elected village chief of Bedok Reservoir. Our MPs is equivalent of PRC's elected village chiefs.

I do see similarities.

PAP call each other comrades like the communist parties in China and North Korea.

Like China and North Korea, PAP is a one party state dictatorship with absolute power and total control over all the govt agencies and public money.

The elections dept is under the total control of PMO aka the Secretary General of the PAP for gerrymandering and manipulation.

The MSM are state owned and serve as the party's propaganda machinery and brainwash commoners. In the 2015 World Press Freedom Index, Singapore is ranked 153th, China is ranked 176th, and North Korea is ranked 179th.

PAP is deeply obsessed with military might and spend massive amounts of the public budget on the military every year, like China and North Korea.

PAP parachute numerous paper generals into the govt to be ministers similar to China and North Korea.
