Singaporeans may have to live with it as long as the root problem is not addressed.
Think about it, underground culverts are big monsoon drains, if they are choked , it would mean the debris must be there for 50 years !
Just imagine 3 to 5 m deep and 5 m wide culvert , how is it choked ? There must be evidence to prove it !
Anyway, because of one -man mistake saying singapore is not flood -free instead of saying "we will try to make singapore flood -free", the word "flood" becomes a taboo !
Just a laugh--everybody is responsible for the floods ? It is so easy to shirk these things way but remember you are paid millions to say just that ?
You can be reassured that newspaper people and TV dogs will not report floods in singapore no more.
This is a very dangerou matter now ! If they refuse to report floods in Singapore from then on to keep the face, drivers and people alike can be in great danger.
Yes it is true, some guys here say the real thing---PAP people are so preoccupied with their YOG, NDP, PA, and investments in China (any good to local singaporeans?), and most of all, open 12 -million PAP hospital in Indoland.
Singapore is indeed falling apart ! We are all just NS jokes !
