Go tough on the drug traffickers....the big time ones not the ikan bilis.
But when pappies give safe haven to drug lords. There won’t be any real conviction to rid the problem.

In the 80s and 90s we went after drug lords including foreigners and detained them without trial in Moon Crescent with similar to sentences to that of traffickers who were convicted in court. One HK drug lord was seized from his Yacht in Singapore waters.

The son however has made Singapore a tax evasion heaven and hot money is part of that. We also have special storage for very very expensive work of arts for people all around the World. Not only genuine investors purchase these artwork but those involved in illegal and criminal activities and buying to sell it later is part of money laundering.

The signal went out when we allowed Burma's notorious warlord to send his son here to open companies, grandson in UWC. etc. Indian National who escaped the Mauritius tax evasion and money laundering dragnet ended up buying Sentosa waterfront properties plus automatic Singapore PR as part of the purchase courtesy of Wong Kan Seng Developer buddy who got a sweet deal with tender for these sites.
