[Singapore] - Generating and spreading toxic carcinogens in the air is just bad karma, religious superstition is no excuse. Singapore air will be carcinogenic and unbreathable starting tomorrow, and for the whole of August.
Such health hazardous practices (especially if done extra unethically and inconsiderately, such as burning in unauthorized places such as by the road, or burning in areas close to residential blocks) will violate the health rights of others, and may cause tension between the different religious groups.
Christians, Muslims and others will be wondering why these people carrying out such environmentally disastrous burnings, a practice that was never suggested, required or condoned by either Lao Zi or the Buddha, or any of deities for that matter
