Since when is National Wage Council an union? NWC is a tripartite body comprising representatives from the three social partners – the employers, the unions and the Government.

$50 to $65 may not sound a lot, however, every dollar counts for the low wage workers. We also have to think for the employers too. If operation cost became too high, employers may close down and workers lose jobs!
