Siblings arrested for illegal 4D activities

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 45-year-old man and his 53-year-old sister for suspected involvement in illegal 4D collection activities.
Police said at about 3.30pm on May 16, officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division arrested the man in the vicinity of Seletar Hills Estate during an anti-crime round.
Preliminary investigations indicated that he had assisted an illegal bookmaker in the business by obtaining illegal bets from punters.
Acting on follow-up investigations, the subject's 53-year-old sister was arrested in the vicinity of Fernvale Lane on the same day at around 5.10pm.
It is believed that she had assisted in collecting illegal bets from punters.
Mobile phones containing suspected punters' records amounting to S$7,209 were seized.
