STOMPers Lum and Jenell spotted this man washing his dirty clothes in a playground near Dunman Secondary School.

Lum wrote:

"I saw this random guy washing his dirty laundry in an open space near Dunman Secondary School.

"I found this disturbing so yeah, decided to tell you all about this."

STOMPer Jenell said:

"A foreign man in his late 20s to early 30s was hanging his laundry for all to see at Block 472 Tampines Street 44.

"Where's the sense of shame and public courtesy?

"Yes, clothes might dry faster under the scorching sun but kids can no longer play in the playground.

"What has our beloved neighborhood turned into?"

The STOMPer wrote:

"This young couple was using the fitness corner at Admiralty Drive for hanging their laundry.

"They weren't just hanging their bedsheets -- there were also clothing at the fitness corner."

It just goes to show how overcrowded SG has become that there is not enough basic facilities to support the population. Whose fault to bring the country back to 3rd world?

Raw chicken parts thrown all over ground beside dustbin

raw_chicken_parts-thumbnail.jpg

STOMPer Maddy came across these raw chicken parts thrown on the ground beside a dustbin and thinks the person who did this could have placed the bits in a plastic bag and tied it before disposing of them.

She wrote:

"Raw chicken feet was seen thrown outside of the rubbish bin under Block 414 Saujana Road.

"It was exposed and very unsightly.

"It will attract flies, cockroaches and what not. They could have tied the unwanted parts into a plastic bag and thrown into the blue dustbin.

"This goes to show how irresponsible people can be."

Shopper gets nasty surprise when she visits loo in newly-opened JCube mall

STOMPer Ms Yum went to the newly-opened JCube shopping centre at Jurong East but got a nasty surprise when she found rubbish dumped into the hand dryer in the toilet. The mall was just reopened on Apr 2.

Said the STOMPer (Apr 5):

"I wanted to check out the rooftop garden of JCube, so I took the escalator up.

"There were a few dozens of people up there -- there's not much of a garden as the place will be used for roller-blading I think.

"I checked out the ladies' loo too. After washing my hands, I wanted to dip them into the vertical hand dryer, but pulled back when I saw rubbish in it.

"Scraps of used paper were blown about as I had activated the dryer when it detected my fingers.

"I looked around but could not see a litterbin.

"Maybe the mall should provide one in the toilet so that people can dump their litter in there, and not into the hand dryer.

"Better still if the mall could install the equally power hand dryer that blows air downwards, and it's more hygienic as your hands won't touch the sides accidentally.

"As for the culprit who dumped rubbish into the dryer, I suspected it could be the heartlanders who came to visit the centre after its opening."
