I'm very angry today even though it's stock investment bootcamp day.
Let me explain.
When l was an undergraduate in NUS B.Sc (Real Estate) back in 2000, my peers and l looked up to Liew Mun Leong as a successful real estate executive. Back then he was already CEO of Capitaland and in 2002, Capitaland launched Singapore's first ever REIT.
In 2007, Liew received a bonus of 20 million, a record in Singapore's corporate history that still stands today.
That he can frame someone so many rungs lower in society to go to jail with no remorse disgust me. It is right he has stepped down from all leadership positions. Such behavior of his is not befitting of being human, let alone leadership positions.
Then there is James Phang, the scammer fronting Sunshine Empire ponzi scam and out of prison. He was seen at Oxley Bizhub foodcourt and l observed him being chummy with folks associated with this company on the ground floor of Oxley Bizhub. One look, u know what kinda company this is. No need to spell it out.
Recently, fancy cars like a Ferrari and mercedes start to park outside this store. Young ah beng and lian sales people start to loiter around, chatting with some puffing away. I think I am witnessing the birth of yet another dubious MLM/ponzi scam. This time selling the most "powerful" cell food in Singapore...wahaa. Just read the bullshit claims in the pic.
