I’ve tested a few of those too-good-to-be-true drives before, and they usually report fake capacities. If you ever end up with one and want to check or wipe it safely before returning or repurposing it, I’ve used hddformat.com to run a proper verification and zero-fill wipe. It makes it clear if a drive is real or spoofed, which saved me some headaches.
