I was shocked by the figures. I am sure many suspected this in view of the severity and disparity of sentences dished out in recent years. Well here it is straight from the horse's mouth.

Result of many years of deliberate actions to make legal recourse out of reach for many except the elite few most of which are being paid by their organisation. LKY has succeeded to cow dissent by sheer costs alone....... even TT Durai beat up those in the right to accuse him of flying first class with NKF money. What fucking world is this?

Local lawyers,are charging way too much, that's the problem

I remember one of the 2 SCs mentioned in the article was indeed Harry Elias. Can anyone recall who the other SC was ? It could be Tan Tee Jim (not sure if he was amongst the first batch of SCs).

Anyway, the point is it's not a bad idea at all for layperson to have his day in court without a lawyer. The "feisty female litigant" mentioned above actually brought two SCs to their knees.

Dat is becos they are just robot n magistrate only interested to fine ,.. keep the state coffer with money to pay those hungry millionaire ministers and sex hungry honchos
